Don't forget Mother's Day Liturgy is at 7.15am in the Church tomorrow morning.
Our Library is under renovation. As a result we are unable to have our normal Library Lesson at this time. Please note that Library borrowing will also be postponed until further notice. In order to get the Junior Fiction section of our Library ready we ask that you return your child's library book. Sorry for the confusion and thank you for your understanding.

Brain Break
Could you please make sure that all brain break is labelled with your child's name. We have a constant battle with Bananas. Please send all brain break in a marked container, ziplock bag or with their name written on the skin of the fruit. Thank you for your support.
We ask that you do not mark the children's sight word books. We will mark the books each week. Could you please ensure to continually go over all the popcorn words, even the ones that are marked as known, as children forget very quickly. Thank you for your cooperation.
Workshops
This week our big book in reading workshops was I've Been Eating Blackberries! Ask your child how the little girl in the story felt? In reading and writing workshops we have explored the vowel u and phonologically, we are learning to detect rhyme. In Maths workshops we are learning about the number 3 and its name (three) and we are exploring ABB, AAB and ABC patterns. Our concept this week has been ordering and sorting.
Unit Work
This week we moved ontoour Raiforst Habitat. We discussed where in the Rainforest Habitat a parrot would live and what they eat. We are discussing that habitats are animals homes and they give them food, water and shelter.
Religion
In Religion this Term we are exploring the parts of a Church. This week we put together our display and discussed the altar, bible and ambo. We also learnt that one of the leadlight windows in the church was a donation made by one of our students Grandparents.
Our Value this week is Kindness.
