Project Compassion

As part of Lent our school takes part in Project Compassion.  We ask the children to donate money to help others less fortunate then themselves.  We have a box on our prayer table that the children will be asked to place their donation in. Each week the Year 6 leaders will collect our box and count our donations.  We have a poster beside our door to mark how much money our class has raised.  Each week I will tweet a photo update of our total.  Lent is about giving and Project Compassion helps to give back to our world.  Each week they will hear a story about how the money will help other people in our world.  We ask they children to help with chores at home to be able to collect money to donate.  Your donations are greatly appreciated.  We would love to reach our new goal of $100 we are only $22 away.
