This week in 2 Navy:

Workshops

In reading and writing workshops we are focusing on our reading strategies and questioning and inferencing skills. Daily we are completing writing tasks to build our writing stamina with flash writing.  We are following a writing process this term to create a Narrative. Our grammar focus was commas. In Maths we are continuing daily number sense, number patterns and our maths inquiry was based on area.

Religion

We are learning about forgiveness.  This week we learnt about the Sacrament of Reconciliation and how we can use this to heal our relationship with God.

 

Unit Work

This week we have started to explore water and how it is a natural resource in our world!  We follow Whizzy the Water Droplet on a journey to learn how we can conserve water at home and at school.
