Check the Term Overview tab to see what will happening in Term 2 in 2 Navy!
PLEASE RETURN PORTFOLIOS ASAP
The Parent Helper roster will stay the same for this Term. We begin on Monday!
This week in 2 Navy:
Workshops
In reading and writing workshops we are focusing on our reading strategies and retell skills. Daily we are completing writing tasks to build our writing stamina with flash writing. Our focus this week was writing about our Holiday. We will use our high 5 hand to check our sentences. Our shared text this week was the Easter Story (resurrection of Jesus). Ask your child where Jesus was placed to rest? Our grammar focus was nouns, verbs and adjectives. In Maths we are continuing daily number fact practice, number patterns and exploring the concept of 3 digit numbers.
Religion
We have started to explore what a covenant is. We are learning about the Bible and in particular the stories we find in the Old Testament.
