Wow can you believe we have come to the end of our first week of Prep!

A few reminders:
Brain Break
Every day the children will have a 'Brain Break' to help them refuel and boost their concentration in the classroom. Please send in a healthy snack (fruit or vegetables only) preferably cut up, in a named sealed container to be eaten mid-morning. This break will only be short (approximately 5 minutes) so please keep this in mind when preparing this snack.
Please help your child to be aware of their Brain Break. Please show them if you have placed it in another container or if it is in their lunch box. As of next week they will be unpacking all their things by themselves, so it is important they know what it looks like.
KIT Folders
The KIT folders are to be returned to school daily. They will be sent home each afternoon and it is important that they are returned each morning.
Book Club
If you are purchasing book club for your child can please ensure that all orders are ordered and paid for online by the 16th of February 2016.
Changes to morning and afternoon procedure
From Monday the 1st of February, the children will be collected, to begin the school day, from the undercover area at 8.35am. Children are not to walked to the classroom before this time. They will be collected by the teacher and walked down to the Prep area as a class. In the afternoon, the children will be walked to the undercover area to be collected at 2.55pm Thank you for your support.

ReplyDeleteSo brain break is to be given during the waiting period in the under cover area prior to class? Or is it had in the class prior to first break? Sorry this experience is all new to me, first time preppy :)
ReplyDeleteBrain break is during class time, please pack in their bag and the children will place it in our purple bucket each morning to be handed out during class.

ReplyDeleteAll tuckshop orders need to go directly to the tuckshop. We have an online ordering system or you can place an order at the counter in the mornings. Thank you
